Rod Whiteley

Rod Whiteley is Vice Chair of Relate Gloucestershire & Swindon, a charity providing relationship counselling and other support to families, part of the Relate federation.

He is Chairman of Suicide Crisis, a charity in Cheltenham providing confidential face-to-face support to people who are suicidal and in crisis, or who have experienced recent or historic trauma.

He is the clinical supervisor at the private psychotherapy practice Cotswold CBT.

He is an active member of Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, the main provider of NHS mental health care in Worcestershire, and of NHS Citizen, a project to develop public engagement with the Board of NHS England.

He is a former public governor for the Cotswold district, and for a time Lead Governor, at 2gether NHS Foundation Trust, the main provider of NHS mental health care in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.

He was formerly a Board member of Gloucestershire LINk, before it morphed into Healthwatch Gloucestershire.

He previously worked in IT and in education.
